Had such a great stay at the Bae Abermaw Hotel! Gary was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived — such a lovely guy and always happy to help. The views from the hotel are absolutely stunning. Whether you’re sitting outside with a drink or just looking out from your room, it’s hard to beat. The whole place was spotless too — really clean and well looked after. Our room was super comfy and had everything we needed. Breakfast was a real highlight — tasty, fresh, and plenty of choice. And the bar was brilliant as well — the perfect spot to relax in the evening. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect—close to beach and pubs. The breakfast was a nice touch and really set the tone for each day. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Stayed here for a short overnight break last week, stunning views and great location. Rooms spotlessly clean and everything you need to be comfortable. Great little bar for the evenings. Breakfast excellent and all good quality ingredients. The manager and staff are what really make it though, top drawer! we will be back.

Lovely place great dog friendly little b&b a hidden little gem. The views are spectacular gary and the waitress food and overall experience was excellent. Only drawback was the beds were not too comfy and the rooms were very hot we had a fan heater but I think a bigger normal fan needed I think but apart from that excellent experience. Will deffo be returning thankyou gary and your lovely staff for a total enjoyable stay

Our stay at this sea-facing B&B in Barmouth was nothing short of exceptional. The location alone is worth the visit—perched above the shore with sweeping views across the bay and the iconic Barmouth Bridge stretching elegantly across the Mawddach Estuary. Watching the trains glide slowly across the wooden viaduct at sunset was an unexpected highlight—peaceful, almost cinematic. Perfectly placed from Barmouth city centre this is a hidden Welsh gem. Breakfast each morning was a real treat—fresh, locally sourced ingredients served in a cozy dining area with panoramic sea views. The only thing is we got the Sea view room which was on the 2nd floor of the property, so if you have heavy bags to carry keep that in mind.

Just returned after a 1 night stay at this hotel. We were able to check in early which was very helpful. The view from our room was fantastic overlooking the estuary. We were on the top floor I think. The downside for us was having to negotiate 2 flights of stairs but the amazing view made up for that. We chose to have a twin room and found the beds were quite narrow. On reflection if we return we will request a super king to accommodate our old bones ! We didn't actually meet Gary during our short stay. However, we were very fortunate to meet Claire who was very welcoming and served us up with the best breakfast we have ever had whilst staying in a B&B. The choice was excellent, the quality and presentation of our cooked breakfast was superb. There was a vast amount of fresh fruit, various milks, yoghurt, pastries, coffees, cereals, teas. We couldn't fault it. 10 out of 10. Thankyou Claire. Our dachshund was made very welcome too. He slept like a log and thoroughly enjoyed the dog friendly beach near the harbour. Dogs are welcome in lots of cafes/pubs around the harbour area. Barmouth is a lovely place to visit.
